A Community Day of Love for Blake Rose
Blake
Blake is a joyful little girl who loves her family, pink and purple, Encanto, moving in her wheelchair and gait trainer, and the occasional cookie and apple juice. She also lives with ROHHAD, an extraordinarily rare and life-threatening disorder that affects the body’s ability to regulate critical functions such as breathing, hormones, heart rate and body temperature.
Blake and her family have spent more than 100 days in the hospital in 2026, often far from home. On October 11, we want to do more than raise money.

HOW YOU CAN BE PART OF BLAKE’S DAY
🌸 Blake’s Garden of Love
Help us create something Blake and her family can carry with them.
Throughout the day, we’ll have flowers, butterflies and hearts where you can leave a message of love, encouragement or hope for Blake and her family. We’ll collect them in a special keepsake they can take along during hospital stays—a little reminder that their community is always with them.
It doesn’t cost anything to participate. We simply want to fill Blake’s garden with love.
🎲 Bunco for Blake
1:30 PM • $20 per player • Limited to 24 players
Come play Bunco for Blake! Never played Bunco? No problem – no experience required! Bunco is a fast, easy-to-learn dice game played in groups of four. There’s no strategy or experience required—we’ll explain everything before we start. Come ready to roll some dice, meet some people, laugh a lot, and support Blake!
Because seating is limited, advance registration is required. Your $20 registration directly benefits Blake and her family.

One of the most practical ways to help Blake’s family is with Amazon and DoorDash gift cards.
During long hospital stays, these allow the family to have meals and necessities delivered directly to Ronald McDonald House.

🎵 Live Music with Judah Strickland
Music is one of Blake’s very favorite things, so of course Blake’s day needs its own soundtrack! 💗
Judah Strickland will be joining us for live music featuring some of Blake’s favorites—including Disney songs, music from Encanto, and other songs chosen especially with Blake in mind. We’re going to fill the cafe with music that makes Blake happy!
Come sing along, grab a coffee, and help us make a little joyful noise for Blake. 🎶💜

🧬 WHAT IS ROHHAD?
ROHHAD stands for Rapid-onset Obesity with Hypothalamic Dysfunction, Hypoventilation and Autonomic Dysregulation.
It is an extraordinarily rare and serious disorder that typically begins in young children. ROHHAD affects systems responsible for functions our bodies normally regulate automatically—including breathing, heart rate, body temperature, hormones and other essential processes.
One of its most dangerous features is hypoventilation, when the body doesn’t breathe adequately, particularly during sleep. Children with ROHHAD often require extensive monitoring and care from multiple medical specialties.
Because ROHHAD is so rare, research into its causes and treatments is still ongoing.
