Meet John and Dana Marlin, the dynamic duo bringing warmth, community, and the aromatic essence of Just Love Coffee & Cafe to Grand Prairie, Texas. For over three decades, this Dallas couple has woven their lives into the fabric of their community, leaving a trail of love and impact.

Along the way, they poured their hearts into their three sons, Ty, Trevor and Trenn, and their city. John’s expertise in land development, spanning two decades, has crafted quality communities that echo the values of the residents and businesses they serve. Simultaneously, Dana, with her 20+ years of experience as a real estate agent, has been the guiding hand helping families find the perfect home.

Their life took a poignant turn in 2018 with the passing of their beloved son Ty at the age of 23. John and Dana were flooded with people telling stories of the countless hours Ty had spent with them at local coffee shops. Ty transformed lives by lending his ear and his heart to the people of our community with the help of a coffee shop as a safe place to meet. The stories continued to pour in, each one punctuated by the hashtag #lovelikety, a testament to the impact Ty had on countless lives. Ty’s legacy, marked by his authentic love, inspired the birth of LoveLikeTy, a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading love throughout their community.

The Values of LoveLikeTy—Authenticity, Community Focus, Diversity, and being Love Centered—guide every initiative they undertake. Now, John and Dana are embarking on a new venture, extending their commitment to love and community by opening a Just Love Coffee & Cafe franchise in Grand Prairie.

The Marlins’ journey resonates with the stories of other families who’ve opened Just Love franchises across the country and are drawn to the brand’s mission to be a catalyst for love.
