Meet Our Local Owners

Mark and Lynda Lisenby’s journey with Just Love Coffee Cafe in Neillsville, WI, is a unique blend of rural community spirit and entrepreneurial vision. They saw the café as the perfect amenity to complement their ambitious 100+ apartment community, located in a converted hospital building, by creating a gathering spot for both residents and locals.
Neillsville, a small town nestled in Clark County’s rolling farmland, has a strong agricultural presence, with cows outnumbering people by a staggering ratio of 30 to 1, and local dairy production reaching 1.5 billion pounds annually. The Lisenbys saw great potential in this close-knit setting.
Mark, drawing from his background in farming and construction, has a track record of transforming distressed properties into apartments since he began investing in real estate in 2007. He took the plunge into full-time entrepreneurship in 2015, dedicated to revitalizing underutilized buildings in rural communities.
Lynda, with three decades in public relations and public affairs, brought her experience and passion for the Wisconsin community to their rental business. She now leads café operations, working closely with a skilled general manager and team to foster a welcoming space for residents and visitors alike.
Their shared commitment to Neillsville and the café venture reflects their deep connection to Wisconsin’s small-town charm, where community and comfort come together under their vision.
